Yes. It is a fixed-departure group trip with one fixed itinerary every weekend. Dates, route and stay are planned by KBGTRIPS.
Where do we board in Bangalore?
You choose one of the listed Bangalore pickup points while booking. The same points are used for the drop on return.
What time does the trip depart?
Friday night, approx. 8:30 PM onwards. Your exact time depends on the pickup point you choose (shown on this page).
What time will we return?
Sunday evening/late night. Arrival times are approximate because traffic and road conditions can affect the journey.
Is accommodation included?
Yes, 1 night accommodation in Chikmagalur is included.
What room occupancy is provided?
Double / Triple Occupancy. Room allocation is subject to availability and will be managed by KBGTRIPS.
Can I choose my hotel?
No. The stay is arranged by KBGTRIPS for the whole group.
Can I customize the itinerary?
No. The itinerary is fixed for every departure.
Are meals included?
Dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2 are included. Lunches are at your own expense.
Are local jeep charges included?
No. Local jeep/transfer charges (for example to Jhari Waterfalls), where applicable, are not included.
What should I carry?
A valid photo ID, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket or rainwear, personal medicines, a water bottle and some cash for local expenses.
Is the trip suitable for couples/families?
Yes, couples, friends and families are welcome. Some viewpoints involve steps and short walks.
What happens if weather/access conditions affect sightseeing?
If traffic, weather, access restrictions or local conditions make a stop impractical, the trip coordinator may change the order or skip that stop for safety.
What happens if the departure does not meet the minimum group requirement?
Each departure needs a minimum group of 12 travellers. If it is not met, KBGTRIPS may cancel with a refund or move you to the next trip.
